Description

Infusion is one of three Water Extraction Methods used in preparing Herbs for therapeutic use.  The Infusion method involves pouring boiling water over Herb material and steeping it for 5 to 15 minutes.  This method is employed in preparing Herbal Teas.  Infusion is the more suitable of the two Water Extraction Methods when using the leaves, flowers and other soft parts of a Herb.
