Fluid Extracts

Also known as:  Liquid Extracts

A Fluid Extract is a concentrated liquid extract of an Herb produced using the Solvent Extraction Method.

Potency

 Fluid Extracts are generally more potent/concentrated than Tinctures.  They are prepared either by using lower initial quantities of Solvent than with Tinctures or by distilling off much of the Alcohol:

 Typically, 1 ml of a Fluid Extract is equivalent to 10 ml of Tincture.
