Description

The Larynx is a Muscular tube in the Throat extending from the Pharynx (throat) to the Trachea (windpipe) that contains the Vocal Chords.  It is comprised of several segments of elastic Cartilage held together by Muscles and Ligaments and is covered by a Mucous Membrane.
