Myomas are benign tumors of the Muscles.

 

Types of Myomas

 Fibroids(also known as Fibromyomas) are Benign tumors composed of Smooth Muscle and fibrous Tissues.  Fibroids usually occur in the Muscular Wall of the Uterus and are then known as Uterine Fibroids.

 Leiomyoma is a benign tumor of Smooth Muscle.

 Rhabdomyoma is a benign tumor of Skeletal Muscle.
