Description
Gonorrhea is a contagious catarrhal Inflammation of the Mucous Membranes of the male or female genital organs. It is transmitted primarily via sexual intercourse. It may involve the lower or upper genital tract, especially the Urethra, Endocervix and Uterine Tubes. Rarely it spreads to the Peritoneum, Joints or the Heart via the bloodstream.
