Description
Smallpox is an acute infectious Virus disease that causes a high fever and a rash that scars the skin transmitted mainly by contact with another infected person. Smallpox Virus has officially been eradicated from the world and was declared "extinct" by the WHO but supplies still exist in a Virus library. It has been speculated that the Orthopoxvirus that causes Smallpox may be used as an agent in bioterrorism.
