 Prostate Cancer affects one male in 10,000 under the age of 39, one male in 128 between the ages of 40 to 59, and one male in nine between the ages 60 to 79:

 75% of all cases of Prostate Cancer are diagnosed in men over the age of 65.

 Prostate Cancer is the most commonly-occurring Cancer in men.

 Prostate Cancer accounts for 32% of all cases of Cancer in men and accounts for 13% of Cancer deaths in men (in the USA in 1994).

 There may be a genetic component to Prostate Cancer as the HPC1 Gene has been found to strongly predispose men to Prostate Cancer.
