Description
The Urethra is the duct through which Urine is discharged from the Bladder to the external environment - the Sphincter muscle at the junction of the Bladder and the Urethra controls the emptying of the Bladder via the Urethra. In females, this duct runs along the front wall of the Vagina and opens into the Vestibule of the Vulva behind the Clitoris.
