Description

Prawns are a group of approximately 2,000 species of Crustaceans that range in size from 6 mm to 20 cm.  The scientific name for Prawns is Penaeus duorarum (Pink Shrimp).

 

 

*     The quantity of Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids in Prawns varies considerably according to season and location of catch - from a low of 0.2% to a high of 0.5% (average 0.35%).
