An Aneurysm is a bulging out of part of the wall of a Blood Vessel. An Aneurysm forms where the Blood Vessel Wall has weakened, often due to the build-up of atherosclerotic plaque. If left untreated, an Aneurysm may tear or burst (known as a ruptured Aneurysm).
