Bioavailability

 Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate differs from other Progestins in that its duration of action is longer (8 - 14 days compared to under 4 days for all other Progestins except Medroxyprogesterone Acetate).

 

Pharmaceutical Availability of Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate

 Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate is only available to physicians for Intramuscular Injection.
