 Riluzole may reduce the symptoms (including Convulsions) of Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome.  [1]

 Riluzole may increase the life span of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients by blocking the excessive release of Glutamic Acid within the CNS (excessive CNS Glutamic Acid release is implicated in ALS).  [2]

 

Dosage Recommendations

 The recommended daily dose of Riluzole in adults 100 mg (50 mg every 12 hours).
