Cardiovascular System

 Presently, there is experimental interest in the development of (highly selective) Alpha-2 Adrenergic Receptor Antagonists for the treatment of Raynaud’s Disease (it is speculated that selective Alpha-2 Adrenergic Receptor Antagonists will alleviate Raynaud’s Disease by inhibiting the contractions of Smooth Muscles that are initiated by the activation of Alpha-2 Adrenergic Receptors).
