Description

Pindolol is a type of non-selective, partial agonist Beta-Blocker Pharmaceutical Drug.

Conventional Medical Usage of Pindolol

Pindolol achieves its effects by (like other Beta-Blockers) blocking the effects of Adrenaline and Norepinephrine on the body's Beta-Adrenergic Receptors - however, unlike other Beta-Blockers, Pindolol does not slow Heartbeat rate or reduce the output of the Heart.

Cardiovascular System

Pindolol prevents chest pain and improves Exercise tolerance in Angina patients.

Pindolol lowers Blood Pressure in High Blood Pressure patients.
