Brucella
Description
Brucella is a genus of encapsulated, nonmotile Detrimental Bacteria from the Brucellaceae family. This genus contains short, rod-shaped to coccoid, gram-negative cells. Brucella species are parasitic and can invade all animal tissues. They can cause infection of the genital organs, the Breasts, the Respiratory Tract and the Gastrointestinal Tract. They are pathogenic to man.
