Glucocerebrosides are a group of Cerebrosides that contain Glucose as their constituent Simple Sugar.

Although Glucocerebrosides are naturally present in the Lipid component of the Myelin Sheaths of some mammals, they are only present in the Myelin Sheaths of humans in the presence of the metabolic disorder named Gaucher's Disease.
