Laminin 5 is a type of Laminin Glycoprotein secreted by Keratinocytes.

Skin

 Laminin 5 enhances and stabilizes the Dermo-Epidermal Junction (DEJ).  Laminin 5 bridges basal Keratinocytes with Collagen type VII of anchoring fibrils at the Dermo-Epidermal Junction (DEJ).  [1]
